Maybe you considered ordering groceries online in the past, but thought it was too complicated or unnecessary. The COVID-19 pandemic has made us more cautious about venturing out of our homes. Thankfully, there are more options than ever before when it comes to online shopping.
In this IN-CASE video, we'll ease your fears about using apps and websites to arrange for groceries to be delivered or picked up curbside.
IN-CASE member Diane Dove, with the Better Business Bureau Serving Central Indiana, sat down for a conversation with her mother, Daisy Dove, to discuss what it's like to be a senior citizen who is new to online grocery shopping. Diane and Daisy mostly discuss the Walmart and Kroger websites/apps, but there are lots of options out there for both curbside pickup and home delivery. Ask your own family and friends which online grocery shopping programs they use and prefer, then ask if they'd be willing to show you how to do it as well.
If you'd like to check out the "Cooking for One" recipes Diane mentioned, they can be found in a previous IN-CASE blog post.

This article provided a thoughtful and realistic look at online grocery shopping. The balance between convenience and potential challenges was explained very clearly and felt relatable. I appreciated how the details were broken down step by step, which is the same clarity I look for when reading service guides, including resources like https://www.goprogaragedoorrepair.com/ I recently saw a similar discussion on a review blog, and it added another interesting angle to this topic as well.
